Simryn Gill used books as a raw material, choosing words such as ‘because’, ‘vessel’, ‘always’, ‘jealous’, and ‘lull’, and removing them from the books to investigate if, and how, words lose or take on meaning when taken away from their intended structures and contexts.

Didn’t ya gnome…
That i really want a gnome tattoo. It may sound weird, but i don’t really care. I am the girl who got a Hanson tattoo, so this is probably something you should expect. I think they’re cute little woodland creatures that belong on everyones lawn. And now one belongs on my body. Only instead of being made out of glass, it would be ink and flesh. Hell yeah.
